Kath Burlinson

Kath Burlinson, Ph.D (London) is a professional theatre performer and director with extensive experience working in the corporate sector helping individuals to increase personal impact and companies and organisations to envision their futures.

Kath’s artistic work includes creating her Authentic Artist workshop programme and founding the Authentic Artist Collective. Her award-winning solo show “The Mother’s Bones” and her recent production, WOLF were both selected for the Escalator East to Edinburgh Showcases. Previously Kath co-founded The Weird Sisters theatre company, touring nationally and internationally and winning five theatre awards. Other directing credits include “Stolen Voices”, developed at the National Theatre Studio, Three Beyond the Sea’s “Up the Café de Paris” at the New Players Theatre, London, “Red Earth” at Edinburgh Fringe for musicians Mairi Campbell and David Francis and “Cyrano on the Moon” at Wimbledon Theatre Studio. As an actor Kath has appeared in various TV, radio, film and stage productions. Kath taught English and Drama at the University of Southampton for eight years and has been freelance since 1997.

Kath is currently developing a new strand of corporate work for Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds, “The Art of Being Heard”. Other corporate clients includes Goldman Sachs Global Leadership Program, Pershing Ltd, Capgemini, Tata Consulting Services, The Home Office, Atos/Origin, Hounslow Council, The British Museum and The Office for Public Management.
