“Tell me. what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?” Mary Oliver
You will be asked to submit:
- The assignment (in English or your first language, with translation), or link to video or recording.
- Your CV/resume (maximum 2 pages please)
- A Covering Letter (max 2 pages please in English) which focusses on any particular aspect of your CV we should be aware of. You should also give an indication of why you are choosing this course of study, at this time, in this in-the-cloud form.
Using this material we will ‘long-list’ candidates we believe could benefit most from the course, and who appear ready and able to undertake the 20 week intensive English language taught & self-managed collaboration course.
The long-list of applicants will be invited for an initial Zoom/Skype interview with CGO. This will include an opportunity for you to ask questions of us, and the other way around. The aim is to gather a cohort for the course who are different, complementary, and will inspire & challenge each other as we move forward. From this interview we will create a short-list of candidates.
We will begin to award places for in early February 2021. So early applications are most welcome. We are not setting a deadline for applications at the moment, but may introduce one as the number of people offered places reaches 6-8.
If you are offered a place you will be asked to pay the Deposit to secure your place (see Cost section). At this point a Reading List and other materials will be sent through to you, and we will begin to connect you into the process of preparing for the Diploma.
