CGO Institute – The Cost

For the inaugural course (Nov 2020) The cost will be £2,400+VAT (see note below). This is a cloud-based diploma-level course allowing you to stay in your home base, build your own business and connections, and learn with a cohort of global creative producers with whom you will build a community in the future. It is not affiliated with a University which keeps the costs substantially lower and allows maximum flexibility to deliver the course material which is needed for each cohort.

Payment Plan:

To secure your place, when offered: £800 non-refundable deposit (The deposit would be refundable if the course does not go ahead for any reason.)

Two weeks before the start of the course: £800

Two weeks before the start of the second 6 week ‘term’: £800

(For course 2 it is expected that VAT will be payable. At present (Sept 2020) this is 20% in the UK. So you should budget on £2880 as the full cost. More information available shortly on this as CGO Institute begins VAT registration)

If you transfer the funds and there are charges, you will need to cover these to ensure CGO receives £800 net of any charges/deductions.

CGO Institute is developing a Bursary and Hardship fund in conjunction with the charity The Production Exchange. We are also working with other funders to assess the potential for fees to be covered by grants. Please apply if you feel this course would benefit you, even if you can’t afford it, we will work with successful applicants to help you access funding.

For those who have worked through each page, this is the last one in the pack…so far. In the coming weeks there will be a page on Funding ideas to help you think about ways to access the cost. There will be the first Alumni page with the first cohort, and there will be an Events/open access resources page. That will all come in early 2021. For now. Thank you for reading to the end.
